HELLO EVERYONE.
IT IS HARD FOR ME TO
SIT FOR LONG I AM
LEAVING A GENERAL MESSAGE
FOR EVERYONE.
I HAVE BEEN PRETTY SORE
I THINK THE DOCTOR TRIED TO
BREAK MY LEG JOINTS LOL..
BONES HEALING UP . STILL SOME
BLEEDING GOING ON.
SURPRISE OF THE DAY WAS
WHEN I WAS IN THE PRE OP ROOM
AND THEY WERE DOING ALL THE
STUFF THEY DO LIKE HOOKING IV'S
AND SUCH.
THEY TOOK BLOOD AND CAME
BACK AND SUDDENLY STARTED TAKING
DOWN THE CURRENT IV SOLUTION TO
CHANGE IT FROM THE REGULAR GLUCOSE
STUFF TO SALINE SOLUTIONS.
AND POPPED ME WITH INSULIN ...
SURPRISE
THEN SENT SOMEONE IN TO DISCUSS IF
I WANTED TO CONTINUE ON WITH THE
PROCEDURE DUE TO MY NEW FIND OF
HIGHLY ELEVATED BLOOD SUGAR..
AND DID I WANT TO STOP THE
PROCEDURE UNTIL I COULD FIND OUT
MORE ABOUT MY BLOOD LEVELS.
I OPPTED TO GET IT OVER WITH.
I HAD ASKED WHAT THE DIFFERENCE
WAS RELATING TO THE SURGERY AND
THEY SAID NOTHING MUCH , OTHER THEN
IT MAY TAKE LONGER TO HEAL AND
INFECTION RISK IS A BIT HIGHER.
SO , ANYWAY IT IS DONE.
I AM SURVIVING AND HAVE ANOTHER APPT.
WITH MY DOCTOR NOW TO DISCUSS DIABETESE
AND IF I HAVE IT OR NOT..
WHILE IN THE HOSPITAL THEY CHECKED
OVER AND OVER BUT MY SUGAR LEVELS BEING
HIGH (BUT NOT OVERLY HIGH LIKE THEY WERE)
THE MORNING WHILE PREPARING FOR SURGERY.??]
A MYSTERY TO THEM AND TO ME.
WILL JUST HAVE TO PLAY IT BY EAR AND SEE
WHAT MY DOCTOR SAYS NOW. HOPE
TO RETURN NEXT MONTH

I WANT TO THANK YOU
FOR STOPPING BY AND YOUR COMMENTS
I AM TAKING THE TIME TO REPLY
TO LET YOU KNOW THAT HUSBAND IS
DOING PRETTY WELL AND IS HOME
FOR NOW.
HE RETURNS FOR ANOTHER HEART
SURGERY ON SEPT. 24 WE DON'T
KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE
GOING TO DO YET. HAVE NO
IDEA IF IT WILL BE ANOTHER
STENT OR A BY PASS. WE WILL
FIND OUT ON SEPT. 14.
I HAVE BLADDER SURGERY
ON OCTOBER 5. I WAS IN
THE PROCESS OF TAKING CARE
OF ALL THAT STUFF WHEN MY
HUSBAND HAD HIS HEART ATTACK.
HE DID END UP WITH SOME
DAMAGE DUE TO THE FACT HE
WAS HAVING HIS HEART ATTACK
A COUPLE TIMES DURING THE
WEEK AND THEN ON FRIDAY
SEPT 5 , HE HAD A HEART
ATTACK THAT LASTED SIX HOURS
BEFORE HE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL.
MORAL DON'T WAIT. IF YOU HAVE
REALLY BAD INDIGESTION GO TO
THE HOSPITAL JUST TO CONFIRM
THAT IS WHAT IT IS.
HIS WAS NOT A TYPICAL HEART
ATTACK HE WAS POSSITIVE IT WAS
REALLY BAD INDIGESTION AND
DIDN'T GO UNTIL NOTHING MADE
HELPED WITH THE INDIGESTION.
AND FOUND OUT IT WAS A HEART
ATTACK . THEY DID SURGERY THAT
NIGHT.
I HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU.
KAREN.

Hey, I am sorry I haven't been around much. On top of trying
to gain back some band width . My grandson Played his play
station 3 using my internet carrier and they tell me that used
up quite a bit of my allowed usage that what I am paying for
is not enough to play those games. LOL
Plus I have been running the gauntlet of doctors. And having
tests run. So it is taking up much of my time and leaving me
exhausted LOL.. I am missing so much on GG. I have seen
some realy cute graphics so far today. I have to choose
either to reply to comments or to vote ..
Well things should even out soon and I will get into the
groove again but I am going to have to be careful about
what all I do on here maybe one day I can vote and one day
I can get in touch and so on..
Because each page we go to downloads and downloads.
Well have a good day and I hope to get caught up soon.

Apology to those abused a 'step forward'
09:49 AEST Sun Aug 30 2009
More national news:

A formal apology to children who suffered abuse in public institutions and orphanages is a step forward for Australia, the federal government says.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is expected to deliver a statement by the end of the year formally recognising the emotional, sexual and physical abuse suffered by hundreds of thousands of people in foster care.
The apology comes as a response to various Senate inquiries into the plight of the so-called forgotten Australians and former child migrants.
The government has also pledged a $300,000 funding boost to both the Alliance for Forgotten Australians and the Care Leavers Australia Network to aid the healing process.
"This is a significant national step in the healing process for forgotten Australians and former child migrants," Families Minister Jenny Macklin said in a statement on Sunday.
A 2004 inquiry found abuse and substandard care was widespread among the 500,000-plus children put into care over the last century.
The government will table its formal response on the issue before the end of the year and has promised to consult further within the community on the path ahead.
"We have also begun a dialogue with mothers and children separated by past adoption practices which were inappropriate or unethical," Ms Macklin said.
"The government recognises that the pain and suffering of these women also endures."
The alliance's Caroline Carroll called it a turning point.
"As children, many of us experienced horrors in the places that were supposed to care for us ... as adult survivors we need acknowledgment of and an apology for the harm that was done to us," she said.
"The apology is an excellent beginning to what we hope will be a comprehensive government response."
The government has called on individuals to be involved in the apology process.
