My name is Marla & I am a young at heart grandma of 9, retired & also a watercolor artist!!
Born of & raised of German ancestry in the midwest (Wisconsin) on the shores of lake Michigan, now living near Yosmite National Park!
My spouse of 47 yrs is also a watercolor & pastel artist.
Good thing we are retired & not dependent on sales as we truly would be "starving artists"!
It keeps us busy & off the streets, so what more could one ask for! LOL!!
We have 2 adult children, 9 grandchildren & 3 furry little kids .....a 17 yr. old abysinnian & a 3 yr. old siamese, & Tuesday Morning is now about 7 months old ...haven't figured out what breed she is yet! She looks like an oriental short haired mix of some kind. She has marbleing & is tri colored, has big paws & really long hind legs & tail!!

I found it on a site that offers ribbons to be personalized.
You can get any ribbon, any color, and add your own words.

I was talking to one of my friends who is a nurse.
She told me that she is seeing more and more women come into the ER
with heart related problems.
Because I care about all of my G-G friends,
I thought I would share some good info on women's heart health.
If you experience any of these symptoms:
1. Discomfort, tightness, uncomfortable pressure, fullness,
squeezing in the center of the chest lasting more than a few minutes, or comes and goes
2. Crushing chest pain
3. Pressure or pain that spreads to the shoulders, neck, upper back, jaw, or arms.
4. Dizziness or nausea
5. Clammy sweats, heart flutters, or paleness
6. Unexplained feelings of anxiety, fatigue or weakness - especially with exertion
7. Stomach or abdominal pain
8. Shortness of breath and difficulty breathing
DO NOT HESITATE...Call an ambulance! Time is of the essence!
Tell them that you are having heart attack symptoms.
They will send an ambulance to transport you to a hospital emergency room.
After you make the phone call, crush or chew a full-strength aspirin
(swallow with a glass of water) to prevent further blood clotting.
Please share this info with others!

The ribbon I uploaded for you has been designated the awareness ribbon for several diseases including, COPD. I edited the info to include the others which are: Childhood Cancer,Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma and Neuroblastoma. I thought that there might be others who are looking for the ribbon for one of these. I notice that you have the ribbon here and have designated it for Asthma. It is the ribbon for COPD. The asthma ribbon is almost identical, but instead of cream and gold it is a light gray and gold. Would you like for me to upload it also?

I found some clip art that I think will work. One is a plain gold ribbon and the other is a cream colored ribbon with gold edges. Both say that they are for COPD. Let me know which you want, and whether you want them personalized in some way. I will try to make something nice for you. Do you or someone you know suffer with COPD. God bless them!
