23 chromosomes from the mom + 23 chromosomes form the dad = a zygote. One little cell with a totally different DNA system than the mother's. It is not the mother's body we are talking about here. Whiten this cell there is enough information to determine the child's hair, eye, and skin color, whether or not he/she is a boy or a girl, etc.
Sure it's just one cell, but this one cell is essential to this person's existence. "It" may not look like a person; "it" may not be able to think, talk, feel, or make choices; "it" may not have the ability to object to being killed; but this DOES NOT mean that "it" is not a PERSON.

FACT: "marriage" has changed from generation to generation. In the biblical days it was one man and many women. In the colonial days men would offer their daughters as brides to whoever paid them the highest. Women then were not always free to marry men they loved. Interracial marriage was illegal until the 60's.

I was scanning through some graphics and some how came across your profile.I am pro-life also,i work at a Pregnancy Center in my town as a volinteer peer counselor.
It`s a Christian Ministry and i love it their.
I had two abortions when i was a teen,during the abortion the doctor dammaged vital organs and i almost bled to death and died.I was not a christian then,but i am know a Born Again Christian;God has forgiven me and set me free from guilt,fear and every bondage that comes along with sin.
I read what that pro-choice woman malibustacy said.And i can understand were she`s coming from and why she believes what she believes,i was once bind to the truth and did not understand the true meaning of life,i didn`t understand that my baby was not just a piece of tissue,but a real living being made in God`s likeness and image.Icould not have children because of the damage done to my uteris,i lost two baby`s at about 5 months,that`s what abortion did to me.But,but wait,.......... the story is not over,when i gave my life to christ he not only forgave me,he healed my reproductive system and know i have 5,yes 5 beautiful Blessings from Heaven and may even have more if it`s his will.Praise,Glory and honor be to my Lord Jesus Christ.
I have been on both sides so i under stand why people think the way they do,and guess what?......They have free will to choose just as Adam and Eve had free will to choose to dis-obey God when they ate from the tree of the knowlege of good and evil,therefor causeing them to get thrown out of the garden of Eden.We today are doing the same thing, God`s Word never changes, "Thou shall not murder," just as thou shall not eat of the tree of the knowlege of good and evil,two different sins,but they both have the same consaquence,Adam and Eve got thrown out of the garden and we as humans can get thrown out of the kingdom of heaven if we don`t repent.God loves people and he wants a relationship with them,i could not change anything,i could not change my wrong thinging,i could not change what i`ve done,what i needed was a heart change,when i invited Jesus in my life he changed my wrong way of thinking and i would have never known that until i gave my life to God fully,therefor giving him the right to work in my heart and change me.

Wow you have a lot of ignorant people commenting your page! I totally agree with NO Abortions! What do people think is going to come out of a woman, a dog or something? As soon as a woman conceives she will be giving birth to a baby!!! I don't understand what women are thinking these days!!!!
I will say again, and try and simplify it for you...what you dont get is that neither of us is wrong. You have an OPINION and nothing else. Its not YOUR choice what anyone else does with their body. Its not MY choice either. But you better believe it is MY choice what i do with MY body, and NO ONE can change my mind.
My initial point in this whole thing is, its wrong to push what you believe on others. Not everyone is going to agree, and you need to learn to let that go. Believe what you want but let others do the same.
